Common questions
What's the difference between Standard, Pro and Business?
Standard (€99, live today, self-serve) is your personal AI second brain — every channel, every integration, upload & analyse your files, and 3 scheduled routines. Pro (€199) adds a SQL database you own with remote BI/SQL access, a tailored API, more routines, and proactive multi-step workflows. Business (from €399) adds a dedicated EU instance (HA + backups), unlimited custom APIs, a team skills gallery + admin console, and SSO / audit logs / GDPR DPA. Pro & Business are rolling out with guided onboarding — talk to us for early access.
Which email providers are supported?
Only Google (Gmail / Google Workspace) and Microsoft (Outlook / Microsoft 365 / Hotmail). NitroxBrain signs you in with Google or Microsoft and reads your mail, calendar and files through their APIs, so other providers (Yahoo, iCloud, ProtonMail, etc.) are not compatible. If you are unsure, the address you sign in with must be a Google or Microsoft one.
Which AI models can I use — and do they cost extra?
All of them, at no extra cost. You choose your provider — Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI (GPT), Google (Gemini) or Mistral — and Brain automatically picks the right model within it for each request, based on the task's complexity. No per-model pricing, ever; a fair-usage policy applies.
Can I change my Role later?
Yes. Pick the closest fit at checkout (see "Choose your Role" above for what each one does), or General if you are unsure. It shapes Brain's starting persona and habits, not what it can do — every Role has the full toolset. Need to switch after setup? Just ask us.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — 7 days free, then €99 / month. Card is required at signup (Stripe holds it, no charge for 7 days). Your Brain is provisioned immediately so you get the full 7 days to actually try it. Cancel any time before day 7 from the Stripe customer portal and you pay nothing.
When do I get my Brain?
Immediately at signup — not on day 7. The moment your Stripe checkout completes, we provision your box and grant your licence, so the trial starts with a working Brain, not a placeholder.
What happens on day 7?
If you did nothing, Stripe charges €99 and Brain keeps running as a normal paid subscription. Stripe emails you a reminder before that happens. To end the trial without being charged, cancel from your Stripe customer portal — Brain stays live until the end of the trial, then stops.
What does "per user" mean?
One human, one connected Brain. Each user gets their own vault, their own Slack / Chat connection, their own integrations. Two people on the same team = two seats.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Cancel from your Stripe customer portal — billing stops at the end of the current cycle, no questions asked. The subscription is prepaid monthly: cancelling stops the NEXT charge, but there's no refund for the current month once we've charged. Your vault is backed up to your own Drive twice a day anyway, so you keep a copy automatically.
Annual billing or discounts?
Standard is monthly and self-serve — no annual plan or discount in V1. Pro & Business are onboarding-led, and annual billing, team pricing (5+ seats), custom integrations and on-prem are all part of those conversations — see /services or contact us directly.
What happens to my data if I leave?
Your data already lives in your own Google or Microsoft account — NitroxBrain works through their APIs and never takes custody of it, and Brain's memory is mirrored back to your own Drive too. On our servers (in the EU) we hold your vault, conversation history, and access tokens; the conversation history is the one part not auto-backed-up to your Drive, so you can export it before you leave. We delete everything on our side within 30 days of cancellation (GDPR right-to-erasure).
